Are you Dedicated to become healthy?

To become strong and healthy you need one main element, dedication. You have to decide that you want to stop slugging around, you want to start feeling energetic and you want to live a long healthy and vigorous life. Things won’t happen to you that you don’t make a conscience effort to create in your life. If you want to lose weight and feel good you have to stop looking at the scale, stop counting calories and start taking in food that is good for you. Load yourself up with all natural fruits juices. You have to constantly remind yourself of your goal, so if you have to tape them up in your bathroom mirror, do it. Keep reminding yourself of your goal. Then, start looking for vitamins and minerals in your foods. Start your day with a tall glass of orange juice or acai drinks, they are the best way to boost your mind and body into the “I want to feel good” mood. When you feel this way first thing in the morning you will start triggering this effect throughout your day. You will want to go workout and eat a healthier lunch and dinner. I know it can be difficult for most people to work out so your best bet is to find a partner, friend or personal trainer to hold you accountable. If you work at an office that typically orders lunch, make sure you get yourself in the habit of making your own lunch, therefore you can control what you’re eating. When you go shopping at the grocery store, make sure you do not go hungry or you’ll buy everything high in fat. Living a healthy life, really and truly requires you to remember one thing, “how bad do you want it?”

How to build stamina

You can build stamina by constantly doing things that require stamina. Such as running, jumping, cardio kickbox and more .

How much can you jump? Time yourself.. If you have trouble at first.. start by jumping rope at least 1 minute straight. When you mess up just get moving and do it again. See if you can do that for about 5 or 10 minutes. In between each minute, make sure to walk around and keep moving. You will find yourself transforming every day. Every day you will be able to do more and more minutes. Making the one minute goals is a reachable and attainable goal. Then you will start wanting more. Can you do 2 minutes? And so on and so forth. By simply jumping rope outside for a bit is a great way to start building strength, speed and endurance and enjoy the fresh air.
Your thighs, your butt, and your heart will love it.

Ps. "Whether you think you can or can't, you're probably right." Stop telling yourself you can't do it.

Take your kids for a Bike Ride, Saturday's Pompano


Every Saturday 9am.
Pompano Park on Federal Highway.
We will bike around park, to beach and around.
Get out, get some sun, get moving,
and enjoy your kids.

Email me or call me for attendance.
Meet and Bike with other parents.
Kids make new friends.

Fun day out.
Any and alternate times available to get together will work.
We bike on sunset by beach as well.

Biking is a great exercise to do with the kids.

If you want to enjoy life, you really need to take advantage of it.
There is so much that God has given us to enjoy. We dwell too much on the negatives.

Make a list of all that you want to have.
Print out the numbered words and write your own

1. It all starts with a clean mind

2. My body is my vessel.

When we are out of shape, we are grouchy, moody, tired, stressed, hurt and lazy.
When we workout we feel amazing. Our moods change, We are happier. We enjoy things. We want to do things. With our kids and with our loved ones.
Women are responsible for everybody's mood.
We need to be better lovers and wives. The only way we can feel this way is if our mind muscles are all working out.

We need to feel good. Then we can go on to do and accomplish all that we have always wanted to do.

3. Stop dreaming and do it already

Whatever it is you want to be. Take a daily step towards it. However small a step it may be or maybe your inspired that day to do much. But do your research, learn, grow and be all that you were destined to be - Which is all that you aspire to be.

4. Write 4 Major Goals - The biggest ones, the ones you'd hate to die without doing.

They can be anything from career accomplishments to traveling to developing better relationships with people. You must tape them where you can see them daily or remind yourself of them daily. We all lose focus sometimes we must remind ourselves of our purpose. When things are down, you must know, you become a better person having faced obstacles. Life experiences make us stronger. Remember why you're here.

A Strong Mind and Body

What is the purpose of a strong mind and body?

As my favorite Vulcan would say - to "Live long and Prosper"

When you are strong both mentally and physically, you're able to take on any challenge. You do not fear what obstacles lie ahead. You are prepared to experience and wise to know there will be battles to face. Are you ready?

We all live in a world that we no longer effortlessly survive. We must choose and make decisions to survive. We are surrounded by toxins. We need to make the conscience effort about what is in the best interest of ourselves, our families and the lives we want to live.

We have too much disease around us. We need to take better care of ourselves for our own sake. Healthier lives are simply happier. You have the energy, the desire, the drive, the means to go places in life. Feeling like you can take on the next challenge life has for you is truly a great feeling. You are not naive to think life doesn't have challenges that challenge you mentally and physically. Getting your body in shape and into doing things and activities and enjoying life is simply..... more enjoyable.

So it's your choice. Happiness is several shots of wheatgrass, 20 push ups and a jog away...(figuratively speaking)
